Last weekend we were fortunate to participate in the Canadian Association of Alternative Strategies & Assets (CAASA) Career Showcase alongside business school students, recent grads, and many industry employers.

We presented the keynote speech titled, The Proven Steps to Land Your Dream Job, and interacted with employers while learning about the industry’s vast range of job opportunities. In addition, we shared with students how those who develop an exploration mindset, take the time to understand themselves, and actively participate in opportunities to build their network will have a better chance of landing their dream job.

This week we attended Cannexus22, Canada’s largest conference focused on careers and the workforce. There have been many useful takeaways from the conference, which we will share with you in future newsletters and will use in our career coaching and high-performing team programs.

Stephanie was asked to write a new article for Careering Magazine! The article highlights how embracing an exploration mindset, developing a sense of adventure, and putting oneself ‘out there’ can bring unforeseen career opportunities and reduce students’ anxiety.

We are delighted to share the article with you.
