Make space in your agenda for a shared learning experience. Help colleagues understand different working styles and consider how they can support one another.

Team communication

Offsite retreats and planning days

Bring a fresh perspective to your next retreat. A Strengths workshop can help your team start useful conversations about how they work together and contribute to shared goals.

Aligning the team's purpose with the organization's goals

College, university and institutional teams

Bring faculty, staff or administrators together to explore their individual and collective Strengths. We have experience working with leaders and teams in higher education across Canada.

Strengthen team communication and collaboration

Everyone brings a different perspective to their work. CliftonStrengths provides a shared language for exploring team dynamics: how people approach tasks, communicate and contribute. Understanding your own Strengths and those of your colleagues creates a starting point for personal and professional growth.

Recognize what you bring

Develop a deeper understanding of your Top 5 Strengths and how they show up in your work, relationships and everyday decisions.

Appreciate your colleagues

As team members learn about one another’s Strengths, they can better appreciate different working styles. Explore why colleagues may approach the same task differently and what helps each person do their best work.

Develop your communication skills

Use shared insights to discuss clear communication, cooperation and how you can support one another. Consider how different talents contribute to problem-solving and creative thinking when your team faces a shared challenge.

The focus is on practical conversations that support team performance. Participants leave with ideas to bring into their work and an appreciation of how their contribution matters to the team’s success.

What happens before and during your workshop?

1. Tell us about your team

We begin with a conversation about your team, your upcoming event and what you would like participants to gain. Together, we discuss the workshop focus, timing and arrangements.

2. Discover your Top 5 Strengths

Participants complete the online Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment before the workshop. We arrange the assessment process and prepare materials for your team.

3. Learn and connect together

During your 2–3 hour workshop, participants explore their Strengths through interactive team building exercises, guided reflection and team discussion. We encourage participants to share perspectives and consider how they can support one another.

Reflection helps connect the learning to everyday work. We guide participants to consider what they have discovered about themselves and their colleagues, and how they can apply those insights after the workshop.
